I have just completed my first year as a REALTOR, and what a year it has been.

By many accounts, this has been one of the worst years ever in the field of real estate, and I must say I've had a blast. I ended up the year with just shy of two million dollars in closed transactions and with more than a million dollars in additional contracts scheduled to close in 2008. Although I was aiming for at least three million in closed transactions, I feel good about what I have accomplished this year, especially considering the market I jumped into and the fact that, for the first six months, I was still working three days a week at my previous job!

I'm looking forward to a stronger, more stable market in 2008 and hopes of doubling the amount of closed transactions! I'll let you know how it goes.
